This summer we have
been working with local festivals producing junk fashion workshops. This is giving local communities a
chance to learn a new skill whilst sitting in a field and enjoying the atmosphere.
HESFEST (home educators summer festival)
HESFEST had a sell out
of 1500 this year, it was a week long festival based around sharing and teaching
family’s different skills and experiences. We showed the family’s how to get creative
with old clothing and the kids even turned the clothing into there own unique
toys.
